Nikon & Burris have been my favorites for a long time & I never buy a scope without parallax adjustment (either turret or optical ring). I have a 6X24 on my 30-378 and a 3X9 on my 30-06. I do not use a scope when I'm in the "wood" as I find they actually slow you down as most of those shots never exceed 70 yds.

HOWEVER, you can throw them all out (if you have an extra $1,500) since I've just learned about Burris' new ELIMINATOR LASERSCOPE. Lordy, Lord, this thing does everything but load the round & pull the trigger.
