Columnist uses vet's suicide to push anti-gun bigotry

But this isn’t about suicide prevention and Large knows it. His own words make that perfectly clear. The suicide of Orrin Gorman McClellan is a convenient smokescreen. If this were really about suicide, Jerry would be writing about former Gov. Booth Gardner’s effort to legalize assisted suicide, whose advocates sanitize it as “death with dignity.”

I have found (for the most part) the only people more full of crap than politicians - are columnist. Beside this Jerry Large, you may remember Carl Rowan who wrote for the Chicago Sun Times, but lived in Wash. DC where no one was allowed to own handguns.

Rowan was always writing about how handguns should be illegal; not sold, not manufactured or imported ...and ... anyone caught with a gun should go to jail period.

Well guess who got caught with an illegal handgun & arrested? 95% of these anti-gun dickheads are against YOU having a gun.

As for a gun making it easier to commit suicide ... maybe, but if someone wants to end it all, they'll find a way. Look, if you want to visit aunt Tilley for Christmas; having a car will make it easier to see her. But if you don't have a car, you'll get there anyway.
